New England tends to get the best press for its beauty in the fall. Deservedly so. But if you’re looking for a great fall weekend away and you’re not within striking distance of New England’s postcard-perfect locations, you might like one of the following options. From quaint mountain towns to riverside cities, these places are just right for a quick two- to three-day escape.
You can be as choosy as you like when it comes to your accommodation, with many stunning properties available from TripAdvisor Rentals. Read reviews from previous guests and enjoy the extra amenities and space that rentals offer. A rustic log cabin in the woods, perhaps?

Guntersville Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce a collaboration with Sure Shot Basketball and Supreme Courts to offer a Guntersville City League for winter recreation basketball. Practices and games will be held at both the Rec Center’s two courts and the newly constructed courts at Supreme Courts in Warrenton. This will allow us more options for practices and the ability to host more home games. Not to mention the great benefit of keeping everything at earlier times…!! You can register online(if this option is chosen there will be a convenience fee for credit card use added to the total) OR you may still register and pay in house at the Guntersville Rec Center. The cost to register is $65. Sample uniforms will be available for sizing if someone needs to come by the Rec Center and confirm your child’s sizing.
Deadline to register will be October 21st!!!
