The City of Guntersville will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in honor of Independence Day. Recycling this week will be on regular schedule, but garbage will be a day early. Regular Thursday residential garbage service will be picked up on Wednesday and regular Friday garbage service will be picked up on Thursday. Gunter’s Landing pickups should all be on regular schedule.

Guntersville Reservoir Herbicide Treatment Schedule June 29th – July 2nd, 2020
TVA will continue implementation of its Aquatic Plant Management Program on Guntersville Reservoir during the week of June 29th through July 2nd, 2020. This will include areas along residential and commercial shoreline as part of the Lake Guntersville Stakeholder Program as well as developed public access areas. Those areas scheduled for treatment can be found below. Treatments will be made in no particular order and are weather dependent.
