The Guntersville Senior Center will be going thru some changes in meal service. First of all our homebound clients that already have a client ID# will no longer receive a hot meal from the Senior Center on Monday-Friday of each week. We will be bringing our homebound shelf stable meals. These meals could include soups, peanut butter, crackers, cereal bars, canned fruit, fruit juice, raisins ,simple but nutritious meals that can be prepared at home by our homebound clients. We hope to deliver these to your homes every 14 days until we are able to resume our hot meal delivery. Our clients are to eat one of these meals each day to supplement their diets. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause our clients. We are all trying to work together to insure that our homebound clients are taken care of. We will no longer be serving hot meals curbside at our senior center to our congregate clients. We will be provided a small number of shelf stable meals for our most vulnerable clients If you have any questions about these meals, you may call Reita @ 256-505-3000.
