Thanksgiving Week Modified Sanitation Schedule
Monday, November 25 – All Recycling City-wide
Tuesday, November 26 – Gunter’s Landing and all normal Thursday residential pickup
Wednesday, November 27 – Normal Friday residential pickup
Please have items out the night before or by 6 am as pickup time may be earlier or later than your regular service.
Thursday and Friday, November 28-29 – City of Guntersville Offices will be closed
Veterans Day Modified Recycling and Garbage Schedule
The City of Guntersville will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2019 in observance of Veteran’s Day. As a result, recycling will be one day late. Residents with normal Monday pickup will receive service on Tuesday and residents with normal Tuesday service will be on Wednesday. Gunter’s Landing will receive recycling and garbage service on Tuesday. All other residential garbage pickup will be on regular schedule.

Downtown Guntersville Christmas Tree Lighting – Tuesday, December 3rd at 5:30 pm
Lake Guntersville Christmas Parade – Friday, December 6th at 6:00 pm
Downtown Merchant’s “A Night Before Christmas” – Saturday, December 7th 3:00-7:00 pm
Labor Day 2019 Recycling and Garbage Schedule
The City of Guntersville offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019 in observance of Labor Day. Recycling will be a day late. Residents normally receiving recycling on Mondays will receive service on Tuesday. Those with regular Tuesday service will receive pickup on Wednesday. Gunter’s Landing will receive both recycling and garbage pickup on Tuesday. All other residential garbage service will be on regular schedule.
