EAA Chapter 683’s Safety Briefing

EAA Chapter 683 of Guntersville, AL will host a Safety Briefing at the Gunter’s Landing Country Club located at 1000 Gunters Landing Road, Guntersville, AL on October 20th, 2018, doors open at 10:30AM.
Our program will begin at 11:00 am and run until about 2:15 pm. Complimentary Shuttle Service will be provided by EAA Chapter 683 from the Guntersville Municipal Airport (8A1) to the event. Those flying in for the event are asked to park on the west side of the Guntersville Municipal Airport (8A1) near the William (Bill) Greenhaw Aviation Center.
Shuttle Service will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 3:00 pm
The Safety Briefing is Free and Open to the Public, Lunch will be available at a cost of $10.00 per person

Our planned speakers will include speakers from:
- Carpenter Avionics from Smyrna, TN
- The Birmingham FAA Safety Team from the Federal Aviation Administration discussing “Maintaining GA (General Aviation) Aircraft
- Ace Aeronautics from our local Guntersville Municipal Airport discussing the importance of Ground and Flight Safety when navigating in and around airports that have a large helicopter presence.
Safety in Number One (# 1) in Aviation! We are so happy to bring this special event to Guntersville.
Again, it’s very important that those interested please RSVP for this EVENT, so we have an accurate headcount. Please also let us know if you’re interested in the lunch option so that we are sure to have plenty food for all.
