Planning Commission/Board of Adjustments
There will not be a Planning Commission meeting due to a lack of a quorum tonight (10/11/22).
Tomorrow’s Board of Adjustments meeting has been postponed and will be rescheduled (10/12/22).
Manufacture Recycling Trailer Bids
The City of Guntersville will accept sealed bids for Manufactured Recycling Trailers. Complete specifications and instructions are available at the office of Betty Jones, City Clerk, 341 Gunter Avenue, Guntersville AL 35976 or on the City’s website at www.guntersvilleal.org, which may be picked up in person at City Hall or downloaded from the website. Bids will be accepted until 2:00pm on September 28th 2022 at the above address. On that date the bids will be opened and read aloud in the Conference Room. The City of Guntersville has the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. Successful bidders must have or obtain a City of Guntersville Privilege License. No prequalification required.
2022-23 Hot Bituminous Pavement Complete in Place Bid
The City of Guntersville will accept sealed bids for Hot Bituminous Pavement Complete in Place for fiscal year October 1st 2022 until September 30th 2023.
Bids will be accepted until 2:00pm on September 22nd 2022 at the above address. On that date the bids will be opened and read aloud in the Conference Room.
The City of Guntersville has the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality. Successful bidders must have or obtain a City of Guntersville Privilege License. Bid bond and performance bond required for winning bidder.
2022-23 Yearly Bid Packets
Notice is hereby given that the City of Guntersville, Guntersville, Alabama will receive sealed bids for Annual Materials, Supplies and Services. The City’s Annual Bids become effective for the period of time beginning October 1, 2022 until September 30, 2023. Bid packets will be accepted at the City Clerk’s Office until Thursday, September 22nd 2022 at 2:00 pm. Bids will be opened in the 2nd floor conference room at the time. The City of Guntersville reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids.
Comprehensive Plan Survey
The City of Guntersville in partnership with Croy Engineering and Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG) is currently working on creating a Comprehensive Plan for the City. Comprehensive plans help shape future growth by identifying a vision for the community and developing a framework to guide future development. These plans typically include a long-range scope and provide the overall guiding principles for a community’s growth and development. The following link will take you to a survey concerning the Comprehensive Plan. Paper copies of the survey will be available next week and we will update with locations. Your feedback is very important!
