Mountain Valley Arts Fall Concert Series
October 16 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Mountain Valley Arts Council will feature the Huntsville-based band Groove in its free Fall Concerts in the Park on Thursday, October 16th from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at Errol Allan Park in downtown Guntersville. Bring your dance shoes, fans, folding chairs, and friends. Lena’s Rolling Kitchen food truck will be on-site.
Any change in venue due to harsh weather will be posted on MVAC’s Facebook page and MVAC’s website, mvacarts.org.
The band Groove got its start back in January 2007. Since then, they have refined the band lineup to include both male and female lead vocalists which provides the versatility to play a wide variety of 60s to present day dance-pop and funk cover standards.
The band is composed of Toni Hamilton on vocals, Lawrence Crawford on guitar and vocals, David Hughes on bass and vocals, Derrik Anderson on drums, Danny Bealer/Xavier Newsome on keyboards and vocals.
Come on out and groove with us! Thank you to generous MVAC members, the City of Guntersville, and the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce, and concert attendees for making this concert series free to the whole community.
