Anyone that is in the business of renting any room, lodging, campsite or other accommodations to transients for a consideration must collect a nightly room surcharge in addition to all other taxes of every kind now imposed by law. The amount of three dollars ($3.00) per rental unit per night for such room, lodging, or other accommodation and eighty cents ($0.80) per night for each campsite in the City Limits. In the Police Jurisdiction one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per rental unit per night for such room, lodging, or other accommodation and forty cents ($0.40) per night for each campsite. The tax shall not apply to rooms, lodging or accommodation rented to any one (1) party for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) continuous days or more.
