DESCRIPTION:PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED ON DECEMBER 14 ON LOCAL ISSUES \nScottsboro\, Alabama – The Chairman of Alabama’s House of Representatives Committee on Urban and Rural Development\, State Representative Randall Shedd\, R-Cullman (District 11) and members of his committee want to hear from people across the state about issues they care about. Chairman Shedd and members of his committee will conduct a Public Hearing in the TARCOG region on December 14 at 10:00 am at the Jackson County Council on Aging office in Scottsboro\, which is located at 146 Rita Williams Drive.  The public is invited as well as elected officials\, public service officials\, and economic development professionals from the TARCOG region.  Representative Shedd would like to have comments on urban and rural development issues that should be addressed by this legislative committee\, including broadband or other issues of concern to the area. The 2018 Legislative Session begins January 9\, 2018. \n
